| Our Story |

Like many families and friends around the country, over the years, we have grown up with, and gone on to own lots of dogs and this includes Labradors. Four years ago, having lost a Labrador to old age, I bought a chocolate lab pup, that puppy was Summer. A friend who was looking for another dog, had been smitten with Summer, however she was unsure about going for chocolate, having only owned black Labs. We decided to make a few enquiries and contacted owners and breeders throughout Scotland only to find that another litter had been born to the same parents as Summer, so Shilley appeared on the scene.
Living on an island gave us an advantage, we could follow the progress of our dogs siblings. Summers brother lives quite close, in the next village. It was the same with Shilley, we got to know the whereabouts of her litter mates and could recognise them. Hopefully they will also contribute to these pages so we can follow everyones progress! Now Summer is almost five years and Shilley coming up four, both have had litters of their own. Summer as usual bucked the trend and had an only son, Creed. Shilley went on to have a litter of seven beautiful chocolate puppies. If you scroll through our pages, you will get the chance to meet them all, who knows you might be related? As you will discover, she is a real character and she quickly won everyones heart. 
We soon found we were searching pedigree charts and looking up 'relations' on the Internet. Discovering where our dogs lineage stemmed from and seeing pictures of Sires and Dams. Soon we were hooked. Meanwhile our dogs thrived.
